I don’t know… the only thing that they really talked about with character roles was combat. They didn’t go much beyond that.

The same is mostly true for the DM thing. I’ve noticed that everything so far seems dungeon/combat oriented. I’m wondering if that’s all they’re going to do.

The Insider price doesn’t surprise me, as that is typical for this sort of membership.

And I think I recognized all of our styles of DMing in that short film.

I’m being hopeful that they are going to refine the combat and monster system. I’ve given up on roleplay. They threw roleplay out the window when they went from 2nd to 3rd.

From what I can see, they are giving unique powers to every class. If it’s going to be a “new” game, as they say, then I’m hopeful it will be fun.

Now that you mention it, I recognize all our DMing styles as well. Hehehe…

I like to think that most of our games lie in the last DM’s area, but I know that I’ve had too many occasions when I’ve been way too generous with items.

On the other hand, I’m sure none of us have ever let sewer rats annihilate any party members.

But Mark did pit us against Existential angst. Or something like that…

    I kid.

Bah! And I thought was facing off against existential angst…but now that I think about it, Jenn’s half-dragon did face this mighty beast in the Grey Waste. But what marketing campaign for the hearts and minds of Sigil doesn’t encounter the odd bout of ennui?

Just consider yourselves lucky you didn’t face the uber-mensch.

lol my poor kender soul is still wandering around the after life or limbo or something akin to it in that game…poor little kender. She’s probably gone insane for lack of things to pick up, I mean there’s only so many interesting shades of gray people!!! (2693 to be exact but I mean eventually ya run out!!!!) RIP

Apocryphally, your kender is alive and well although she lost her innocence ie. can be scared. She was brought back to life by Death of the Endless.
